AMCA, Rafale and drones: IAF chief lays out India's air power roadmap

He pointed out that the current count of 29 fighter squadrons is below the sanctioned number. Negotiations are under progress for the acquisition of 114 Rafale fighters, with a significant portion of production dedicated to India.
