North Korea fires 10 missiles amid US scaling back military drills with the South
On Thursday, North Korea fired ten short-range ballistic missiles into eastern waters, a provocative move following the United States' decision to reduce joint military exercises with South Korea. The South Korean military enhanced its monitoring efforts and shared intelligence with its allies. Meanwhile, North Korea dismissed diplomatic outreach from the US President as unworthy of a response. Such missile tests violate United Nations Security Council resolutions.
