In Telangana, property owners locked out of their own land
Several owners of legally purchased plots, houses and apartments across Telangana are finding themselves unable to sell, mortgage or transfer their properties after entire survey numbers containing prohibited categories such as Bhoodan, waqf, ceiling surplus and assigned lands were brought under the Section 22A prohibited list.
