IAF seeks new high-power sniper rifle for its Garud special forces
The Indian Air Force is seeking a new .50 BMG sniper rifle for its Garud Special Forces. This advanced weapon will significantly extend their engagement distances and anti-material capabilities. The Garuds will also receive accompanying equipment like suppressors and thermal scopes. Additionally, the air force is looking for indigenous man-portable loitering munitions for precision strikes.
